Romans 10:3-13
1. The question for Paul here is “How could Israel fail when salvation is so readily available?” How many metaphors, how many statements, how many quotations from the Old Testament does he work through on this problem?
2. This section will provide another wonderful opportunity to watch how Paul and the early Christians used the Old Testament. Look at the Old Testament Sources listed below and consider whether or not Paul uses them according to their context.
